People Magazine - Zesty Campaign

I was sitting in my doctor's office with my kids, waiting for our turn. My 4 year old is looking at a Peoples magazine.
Look at this naked guy he says. What!!! Yes, there is a "Zesty" man ad for Kraft Salad Dressing in there. What am I to say!
Now do I have to preview People magazine before I can put it with my magazines that the kid can get into? YUK! I have already complained to Kraft.
I have felt safe in leaving my People magazine on my bed or couch. Now do I need to HIDE it from my children who are too young to read?

No one should be letting a 4 year old read a gossip magazine.. If you want your child to only read child appropriate magazines try giving him something that you pre approve of like a CHILD'S BOOK!
You can't place blame on a magazine after all your the one who let him read it..... Be proactive manage your children and when you go somewhere take some entertainment for them with you so next time you can pull out a child friendly book..... Or you can get over seeing shirtless men and just explain to your kid....
After all if you don't do the explaining someone else will...
Evidently you did not see the ad I am complaining about. By the way I was prepared with toys and books but I needed to change my other son's diaper.
That is when he got ahold of the magazine. I also notice that although YOU are perfect, you did not give your name. The man was not shirtless he was naked on a blanket with his privates barely covered.
I am a Pediatric nurse and experianced Mom. I do control what toys and books I let them see or the ones I read to them.
He is not naked, the guy is covered up. This lady is just insane.
Laying on a blanket with your privates barely covered is NOT OK!
Was the man completely naked, or just bare chested? There is a difference.
If he was only bare chested your kids will see the same thing at the lake or pool, or even a neighbor man cutting grass. They probably see their Dad in less than a bare chest. Furthermore, I would be willing to bet the man wasn't completely naked behind whatever he was holding in front of himself.
I am 73 years old and don't get near as upset over some of the things that you younger people do. I raised two daughters and have four grandkids that range from ages 26-16 and a two year old great grandson.
